Over the years, WSPC has been involved in a number of meaningful peace initiatives:
2003: Peace event at Benedictine Abbey in Lisle with Bishop Sprague and Kathy Kelly, folowed by a 2 mile peace march; organized collection of children’s school kits for Iraq, wrote WSFPC mission statement, established coalition’s leadership structure.
2004: Eyes Wide Open Exhibit and Peace Fair at College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL
2005: Fall Peace Retreat at Downers Grove Friends Meetinghouse
2006: Organized Peace March from Wheaton to Geneva, Clergy Peace Statement
2007: Organized 3 buses to Washington DC Peace March
